Hain
Lifescience is a manufacturer and supplier of molecular biological test
systems. The company was originally founded as a mail-order business
only; its current focus changed to independent design, production and
sales of state of the art diagnostic systems.
The Hain Lifescience assays are based on the innovative DNA•Strip®
technology, a robust and reliable method for routine diagnostics of
disease-associated polymorphisms, microbiological species
differentiation and resistance determination. All tests can be readily
combined with each other, and a minimum of equipment is needed.
Therefore, large as well as small labs can generate rapid, safe and
efficient results. Depending on the required sample throughput, all
DNA•Strip® technology based tests can be performed manually or may
be integrated into an automated routine workflow.
Dental diagnostics is another main focus of Hain Lifescience. The
product range includes the micro-IDent® test for the determination
of periodontopathogenic marker pathogens and the GenoType® PST®
test for the determination of the genetic risk developing of
periodontitis, making Hain Lifescience to a worldwide market leader.
These most recent molecular genetic analytical systems allow the
implementation of an individual and consequently a maximum successful
periodontitis therapy.
